Position Summary
The primary functions of the Delivery Helper are to load, locate job sites, back up, prepare and restore the job site, and prepare the truck for the following day while maintaining the truck and equipment.
Duties & Responsibilities- Compliance with company, state, and federal guidelines, particularly OSHA and DOT, for the safety of all personnel.
- Perform pre‑trip inspections of equipment, paperwork, and loaded product to ensure accuracy of order.
- Safely unload product and deliver to assigned area as directed by the customer.
- Secure mud, equipment, metal, and pallet on truck.
- Navigate routes to the job site.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate information accurately.
- Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs. to carry materials such as drywall and joint compound.
- Strive to do the right thing by displaying trust and integrity.

- Work independently and collaboratively, leading, executing, and delegating as needed.

- Remain standing 90% of the time, constantly moving from unloading materials from commercial vehicles onto the job site.
- Maintain positions to unload and load materials from flatbed or boom.
- Frequently move materials weighing up to 100 lbs. while unloading and loading flatbed.
- Work outdoors while making deliveries.
- Communicate accurately with management and coworkers.
- Prioritize job sites and deadlines.
- Manage stress according to customer deadlines.
- Multi‑task and receive information and directions effectively.
- Communicate solutions promptly if problems occur.
- Demonstrate sound judgment in all situations.
Base salary typically falls within the range of $0.00 to $25.00 per hour, with possible overtime, performance‑based bonus programs, commissions, car allowance or automobile and fuel program, and reimbursement for travel expenses in accordance with company travel policy.
