Role Highlights
Driven truck drivers needed to be home every day, available nights and weekends, and within 30 miles of Roanoke, VA.
Requirements- 21 years or older with a valid Class A CDL and a minimum of 4 months of tractor‑trailer experience.
- Clean driving record.
- No recent terminations from previous employment.
- No DUI, felonies, or misdemeanors in the last five years.
- Must pass a hair and urine pre‑employment drug screen.
- Non‑SAP drivers only.
Average weekly pay: $1,450 plus mileage. Additional earnings include $20 per stop and $55 per full unload (approximately 25 minutes for 22 pallets) for no‑touch freight when using a powered pallet jack.
Sign‑on bonus: $2,500 total (details: $500 on first load, $500 at 30 days, $250 at 60 days, $250 at 90 days, $250 at 120 days, $250 at 150 days, $500 at 180 days).
Equipment- 2‑year or newer Freightliner Cascadia.
- XM satellite radio, 1,500‑watt inverter, and APU.
Health insurance (Capital Blue Cross/Blue Shield), dental (Delta Dental), and a 401(k) plan with Fidelity.
