Laborer Landfill

Job Summary

Performs various tasks in a landfill including containing loose refuse to prevent scattering and directing traffic at the landfill.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Manually picks up windblown paper from periphery of landfill.
• Uses mobile vacuum to gather loose paper and refuse.
• During the summer months, directs the flow of trucks at landfill entrance.
• Lifts construction materials for site maintenance.
• Manually separates metal, white goods, lumber and cardboard from trash on tipping floor.

• Licenses as required by Local, State, Federal, Environmental and/or Health/Safety Regulatory agencies.

Pay:
The expected base pay range for this on-site position is $17.25. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
