Trans Force is seeking CDL-A Drivers to support Regional operations based in Riner, VA. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
Pay & Schedule Details- Pay: $75k - $90k per year
- Schedule:
- Sun-Fri during peak season
- Mon-Fri during off-season
- Usually 2nd shift start times
- 3-4 layovers per week on average during peak season (spring & summer)
- 2-3 layovers during off-season
- Route Type: Regional
- Freight / Load Type: Wholesale nursery/landscape supplies (plants, flowers, herbs, vegetables, etc.)
- Equipment: CDL-A tractor trailer, dry van & reefer, automatic
- Handling: Light touch
- Safely operate equipment on regional or local routes
- Transport wholesale nursery products to landscapers, landscape contractors & architects, independent garden centers, and distributors/re-wholesalers in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Assist with loading/unloading as needed, using rolling cages or hand carts/dollies if required
- License: CDL-A
- Experience:
3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience - Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
