Title:
Transportation Router
A nationwide company is looking for an experienced Transportation Router to join their transportation team. If you enjoy logistics, route optimization, and keeping deliveries running efficiently, this is a great opportunity to join a stable operation with an experienced driver team.
Location:Bull Run, VA area
Schedule:
Sunday-Thursday from 8am-4pm
What You’ll Do:
- Build and manage daily delivery routes for approximately 40 drivers
- Optimize routing across VA, MD, DC, and DE
- Monitor route efficiency and make adjustments as needed
- Partner closely with transportation leadership and dispatch to ensure on-time deliveries
- Support a fast-paced operation serving major national accounts
- 2+ years of transportation routing experience
- Experience routing over-the-road and interstate deliveries
- Strong knowledge of transportation operations and route optimization
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced distribution environment
- Experience with trucking, parcel, retail distribution, or similar logistics operations is highly preferred
