Off-Road Haul Truck Driver – Appomattox, VA

Rogers Group is currently seeking an Off-Road Haul Truck Driver for our Virginia SMA operations in the Appomattox, VA area. The successful candidate will have experience operating articulated and/or rigid frame haul trucks and a strong focus on safety excellence.

• Wages starting at $18.00 per hour for entry-level candidates; some positions require no experience and Rogers Group will provide training.
• Higher pay for skilled operators with quarry and mining experience; overtime available.

• Primary duty is operating haul trucks to remove overburden and stripping material for quarry production.

• Perform daily pre‑op and post‑op inspections with proper documentation in compliance with company policies.
• Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management.
• Maintain effective communication skills applicable to the position.
• Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency.
• Follow all company policies and OSHA, MSHA, and Environmental regulations for safe working procedures.
• Maintain a clean motor vehicle record and possess a valid driver’s license.

• Dedication to safe work practices.
• Previous experience operating both rigid frame haul trucks and/or articulating haul trucks preferred.
• Ability to perform general laborer and clean‑up duties on the ground and in the plant as needed.
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions and tolerate loud noise.
• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co‑workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
• Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours as needed.
• Pass pre‑employment drug screen.
• Able to provide valid documentation for the I‑9 immigration document.
