Job Description

Specialty Beverage of Virginia - distributor of some of the finest beers in the world and a member of the Sheehan Family Companies - is currently looking to fill a Night Lead Picker / Keg Picker position. We are seeking an energetic individual with strong leadership ability, work ethic, and responsibility to support our night warehouse operations.

Schedule

Sunday: 7:00 PM - 12:00 AM (or when work is done)

Monday-Thursday: 7:00 PM - 4:00 AM (or when work is done)

Pay

$23-$24 per hour

Responsibilities

* Build mixed pallet orders for retail delivery

* Pick, stage, and organize keg orders (half barrels, quarter barrels, etc.)

* Lead nightly picking operations and support team productivity

* Assign tasks and monitor workflow to ensure timely completion

* Train new employees on picking procedures and safety practices

* Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts

* Assist with inventory counts and product rotation

* Repack damaged product and resolve discrepancies

* Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment

* Communicate issues or delays to management

Requirements

* High School Diploma or GED required

* 2+ years warehouse experience preferred

* Leadership or lead experience preferred

* Experience handling kegs or in beverage distribution a plus

* Forklift certification preferred

* Ability to work night shifts and flexible schedules

Physical Requirements

* Ability to lift and move heavy products (kegs may exceed 150 lbs with assistance)

* Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting

* Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Hiring Requirements

All candidates considered will have a background check, pre-employment drug screen, and a physical exam.
