Description:

Ameri Staff is hiring Warehouse Associates for immediate positions in Blairs, VA. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be a key contributor to the efficient workflow within various departments. These positions will contribute to the efficient production and workflow of the assigned department. • Pay: $13.00 – $15.50 per hour (based on shift and position)
• Shifts Available: 1st & 2nd Shift
• Full-time opportunity

• Assist the department by selecting product as requested
• Troubleshoot work process issues and report them to leads or supervisors
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Perform tasks including picking, packing, stocking, building boxes and displays, and other general warehouse duties
• Interact across departments to assess needs and improve process consistency and integrity
• Build knowledge and skills through continuous learning and training
• Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor with coworkers and supervisors
• Support and commit to company-wide quality and safety standards
• Work in any assigned department as outlined in the primary duties

• Ability to communicate effectively with management and coworkers
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret job-related documents
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions
• Basic math skills required
• Ability to multitask and complete assignments in a timely manner
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience using RF scanners preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience in a distribution center is a plus
• Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and perform repetitive hand motions
• Occasionally required to reach overhead, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
