Job Description:

The department is seeking a qualified Material Handler to select and stage products for customer orders, receive orders and put away products, perform inventory control, stock rotation, and general cleanup.

Qualifications:

Previous work experience in a warehouse environment is required. Knowledge of distribution center procedures, including storage, layout, and item identification. The ability to utilize voice picking and radio frequency (RF) handheld devices is required. High school diploma or equivalent. Skill in the proper use of material handling equipment (MHE), pallet jacks, standup end control riders (stackers), and forklifts.

Experience with accurate product selection, palletization, and staging for outbound orders.

Experience with receipt of inbound product. The ability to move and rotate product in accordance with standard operating procedures. The ability to conduct physical inventory counts. Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations. The ability to follow oral and written instructions. The ability to work as part of a team and individually without constant supervision.

Physical Requirements:

Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, and climbing. Repetitive grasping; maneuvering MHE. Lifting and moving 75 – 100 lbs regularly. Working in a warehouse setting including a freezer, in hot and cold temperatures; exposure to fumes, dirt, dust, odors, and noise.
