- Lead your team as role model for workplace safety. Adhere to all safety, health and housekeeping protocols
- Develop and implement policies and procedures governing the receipt, storage and distribution of materials (inbound, outbound, WIP)
- Support the organizations supply chain strategy through maintenance of appropriate inventory levels and timely distribution of goods
- Ensure warehouse operations comply with internal and external regulations for material handling, storage and distribution.
- Track and report inventory
- Develop, communicate and track department metrics that align with Organization
- Responsible to develop, train, and make all personnel decisions within scope
- Adhere to budget and strategic plan
- Collaborate with Manufacturing management, Procurement, Sales, Finance and other departments as needed.
- Ensure all warehouses or material moving equipment is maintained
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications, Education,
Experience:
- (Preferred) bachelor’s degree and 3 plus years of experience managing production warehouse & shipping operations
- Effective leadership and management skills.
- Ability to collaborate, motivate, and foster teamwork.
- Ability to handle complex issues.
- Solid working knowledge of warehouse processes and related manufacturing.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Teams and Outlook. Warehouse Management & SAP (preferred)
- Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
- Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
- Experience with international shipping including use of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule and tariff codes preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
- Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
- Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
