Position Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Construction Accountant who can manage the full accounting lifecycle for multiple companies at once , maintain rigorous financial controls, and thrive as part of a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
Quick Books Enterprise Contractor — full-cycle accounting
Payroll administration, including prevailing-wage and certified payroll
Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable processing
Budgeting & job-cost reporting for active projects
Coordinate insurance renewals & audits (health, liability, workers’ comp)
Prepare quarterly and month-end financial statements
Assist CPA with year-end tax preparation
Produce Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules
Reconcile bank, fuel, and credit-card accounts monthly (multiple entities)
Manage loan renewals and related documentation
Apply EIDL program knowledge when applicable
Minimum Qualifications
5-10 years accounting/finance experience (construction preferred)
AA degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to multitask across several entities and meet deadlines
Strong team orientation and work ethic
Preferred
