Are you a skilled OB Hospitalist seeking an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact? We are looking for dedicated physicians to support our hospital's obstetric and gynecologic services, ensuring exceptional patient care during a flexible locum tenure.

What You ll Do:
- Provide expert OB Hospitalist coverage for a hospital with an annual delivery volume of approximately 4,690.
- Manage unassigned patient deliveries within a pseudo laborist model, working alongside local providers and community backup.
- Support Level III NICU services and handle emergent gynecologic cases with professionalism and efficiency.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including 24/7 in-house anesthesia coverage, to ensure seamless patient care.
- Engage in rotations with Family Medicine residents during OBED/L&D shifts.
- No outpatient or clinic responsibilities required.
- MD or DO degree with valid medical licensure to practice in California.
- Board eligibility or certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Proven experience managing labor and delivery in a hospital setting.
- Ability to handle emergent gynecologic procedures confidently.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous experience working in a hospitalist or locum tenens role.
- Familiarity with Level III NICU protocols.
- Experience collaborating with residency programs and multidisciplinary teams.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2 years obstetrics and gynecology practice, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Current CA medical license, DEA, and performer number.
- Availability to start on 12/31/2025.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must adhere to all hospital, state, and federal regulations.
- Willingness to adhere to credentialing and compliance procedures.
