Position: Physician / Family Practice / California / Locum tenens / Family Medicine Physician Job
A healthcare network in California is currently seeking a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join their team! Location :
Multiple sites across Tulare, Kings, and Fresno Counties. Shift :
One evening shift per week (12 pm - 9 pm) and one Saturday per month. Schedule :
Full-time, five days a week (8-hour shifts), or four days a week (9-hour shifts). Setting :
Outpatient, primary care clinic. Patient Load :
Average of 20-24 patients per 8-hour shift and 25-27 patients per 9-hour shift. EMR : eClinical

Works Duration :
Three to four months with potential for extension. Responsibilities:
The Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Physician will be responsible for:
Providing primary care services, including pediatric, adult, and women's health. Managing office-based procedures for all ages. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers. Supervising and working with two MA's (back office) and 0.5 MA (front office). Ensuring optimal patient care for primarily Spanish-speaking, farm-working families.

Qualifications:

Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. Active California medical license and DEA license. Experience in outpatient primary care. Ability to manage 20+ patients per day in a fast-paced setting. Strong communication and organizational skills. Proficiency in using EMR systems, preferably eClinical

Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required. Experience in community healthcare or Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC).
