College of the Sequoias accepts applications for part‑time adjunct faculty pools to teach Physics within its Science Department on a continuous basis. Screening committees will conduct the screening of candidates. Meeting the minimum qualifications does not guarantee an interview.
Part‑Time Adjunct Faculty PoolsPart‑time adjunct faculty assignments may include weekend and/or evening classes at the Visalia Campus, the Hanford Educational Center, or the Tulare College Center. Duplicate applications will be replaced by the most recent, which remains active for one year. Positions are temporary and do not accrue tenure rights.

Job DutiesUnder the general direction of a dean or director, adjunct faculty will provide comprehensive classroom instruction to community college students. Faculty members are expected to teach primarily face‑to‑face and to collect and submit data on student learning objectives as needed. Course listings are available in the Academic Catalog.
QualificationsThe minimum qualifications for all disciplines are outlined in the California Community Colleges "Minimum Qualifications for Faculty and Administrators."
