Overview
The Campus Life Connection Team is a position that requires spiritual and organizational leadership skills, the ability to work with and through other people, and strong communication skills. S/he must embrace and build a team that embodies YFC’s Cultural Attributes:
Christ-centered, enduring humility, relentless trust, courageous faithfulness, joyful camaraderie, and kingdom inspired diversity. S/he will seek to implement relational ministry actions to develop Authentic Christ-Sharing Relationships with young people within the context of their YFC ministry model.
Campus Life Connection Team – Full time
Qualifications- Good rapport with the community at large.

- Fulfill educational requirements as set by Campus Life, USA
- Proficient with the use of computers, iPads, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Google Docs, and email
- Able to complete the screening and selection process of Campus Life
- Actively involved in a local church fellowship.
- Complete curriculum training as directed.
- Seek God’s guidance and wisdom, through prayer and meditation, for the organization as a whole as well as for specific ministry initiatives.
- Participate and lead regular times of prayer, devotion and worship as a regular aspect of your role within YFC.
- Teach and preach from the Holy Bible at YFC staff meetings, conferences, camps and events.
- Perform sacramental functions such as the taking of communion and leading times of corporate prayer, confession and praise.
- Perform and lead religious ceremonies such as weddings, baptism and funerals when called upon by staff and other members of the YFC / Campus Life community.
Be prepared to share the Gospel with teenagers at any time (school site appropriate) and to lead them to Christ as the opportunity presents itself. (Be trained in 3 Story evangelism)
Provide quality services to VUSD focusing on students affected by Foster System, Homelessness, and students affected by Adverse Childhood Trauma at:
- 7th–8th Grade students at La Joya Middle School
- 7th–8th Grade students at Green Acres Middle School
- 7th–8th Grade students at Valley Oak Middle School
- 7th–8th Grade students at Divisadero Middle School
- 7th–8th Grade students at Ridgeview Middle School
- 9th–12th Grade students at Redwood High School
- 9th–12th Grade students tney High School
- 9th–12th Grade students at El Diamante High School
- 9th–12th Grade students at Golden West High School
- 9th–12th Grade students at Sequoia High School
- 7th–12th Grade students at Creekside School
(Specific School Assignments will be made by Executive Director & Visalia Team Lead)
Be available as communicated to by each school administration staff to meet with students during schools hours (individuals and/or small groups)
- Have a daily check in with your admin contact.
- Be involved in Admin Team meetings to discuss the needs of students.
Contact Students Daily.
- Meet and Greet students every day at the front gate at 8 am or at the start of each day.
- Meet and say goodbye every day at the end of the school day.
- Meet and converse with kids during breaks.
- Always go with a partner to home visits.
- Document all home visits.
- Provide quality, wholesome activities to students.
- Provide small group discussion opportunities to care for the needs of students as needed.
