Overview
Sequoias Community College District serves a diverse community of learners and is a designated Hispanic Serving Institution. Sequoias Community College District provides a wide range of opportunities in transfer, general education, career, and technical programs for our students. We seek candidates who exhibit an understanding and commitment to the community college mission, who are dedicated to excellence in teaching and learning, and who have a passion for student success.
College of the Sequoias Community College District accepts applications for part-time adjunct faculty pools to teach Economics within its Social Science Department continuously. Screening committees will conduct the screening of candidates. Meeting the minimum qualifications for a position does not assure the applicant of an interview. If the department does not have an immediate need to add candidates to their pool, applications remain in the queue for consideration until the need arises, or for one year in active status.
- Under the general direction of a dean or director, adjunct faculty will provide comprehensive classroom instruction to community college students. The majority of our departments require the ability to teach face-to-face classes. Adjunct faculty will also be expected to collect and submit data on student learning objectives as needed.
The minimum qualifications for all disciplines may be found at the Chancellors Office webpage, see:
