Sequoias Community College District, a Hispanic Serving Institution, welcomes qualified candidates to serve as part‑time adjunct librarians within its Library/Learning Resource Center.

• Provide in‑person and online reference assistance and research consultation to students, faculty, and staff at the Ask a Librarian desk, including one‑on‑one appointments, at all three sites (Visalia, Hanford, and/or Tulare).
• Teach library instruction sessions and facilitate library orientations.
• Teach or co‑teach library workshops.
• Engage in collection management duties (weeding, purchasing, evaluating collections in one or more subject areas).
• Act as library liaison for one or more subject areas.
• Assist teaching faculty in locating academic resources, including Open Educational Resources (OER).
• Create and update online resources (research guides and websites).
• Promote library resources, services, and outreach efforts to the campus community.
• Has the opportunity to teach credit‑bearing library courses.

Earned MLS (MLIS) degree from an American Library Association (ALA) accredited institution or equivalent. All degrees and units used to satisfy minimum qualifications shall be from accredited institutions.
