Roles & Responsibilities   Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders with compassion and clinical precision
Design and implement individualized treatment plans that move patients toward meaningful goals
Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, therapists, educators, and families to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
Document progress and outcomes clearly and timely to support continuity and quality
Provide family and caregiver education to empower support beyond therapy sessions
Participate in discharge planning and transitions of care to ensure safe, effective handoffs
Stay current with evidence-based practices and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
Qualifications   Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility to obtain licensure
ASHA CCC-SLP preferred or working toward certification
Experience (or clinical competency) evaluating and treating pediatric and/or adult caseloads — adaptable clinicians encouraged to apply
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Willingness to complete required onboarding and credentialing for a travel contract role
Education   Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
Knowledge & Skills   Skilled in standardized and informal assessment tools
Knowledge of dysphagia assessment and management techniques
Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) options
Excellent clinical documentation and goal-writing abilities
Cultural humility and ability to work with diverse populations
Strong verbal and written communication with patients, families, and team members
