Position OverviewUser Access Administrator – Department 8480 ISS Applications Services. Responsible for managing the lifecycle of user accounts across the hospital’s IT applications, including provisioning, suspending, and terminating accounts and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
Benefits and ShiftFull‑Time – Day shift, 8 hour or less.
Qualifications- Education:
Preferred Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience. - Experience:
One or more years in IT account administration, access management, or helpdesk support; experience with Jira or other IT service management tools. - Preferred experience with Active Directory or other identity/access management platforms.
- Strong technical writing skills for creating knowledge base documentation.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet timeliness standards.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and IT security best practices.
- Familiarity with healthcare IT systems (e.g., EHR, HRIS, financial systems).
- Process improvement or ITIL experience.
- Provision, suspend, and terminate user accounts across multiple clinical, financial, and operational applications in a timely manner.
- Track and manage account requests and tasks through Jira.
- Develop and maintain knowledge base articles and step‑by‑step guides for other IT staff.
- Perform regular user account audits to ensure access is appropriate and compliant with hospital policies, HIPAA, and other regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with HR, Security, and other ISS teams to ensure smooth onboarding, offboarding, and role changes.
- Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to streamline user access workflows.
- Document account activity and maintain audit‑ready logs.
- Respond to and troubleshoot account‑related issues escalated from IT support teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
