Interpreter

• Facilitates communication between patients, families, and providers
• Provides language interpretation from one language to another
• Documents required information accurately and in a timely manner
• Supports the Interpreter Services program at Kaweah Health
• Responds quickly to emergency situations
• Greets the public and provides information as requested
• Coordinates customer service initiatives to ensure satisfaction

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of Language Resource Assistant (LRA) testing
• One year of interpretation experience or enrollment in an Interpreter training program
• One year of healthcare experience focused on customer service
• Bilingual in Spanish
• Computer skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Tact and stress management skills

Demonstrates proficiency in language interpretation and effective communication within healthcare settings, ensuring patient and provider satisfaction. Bilingual in Spanish, with strong customer service and documentation skills.
