Senior Mechanical Assembly Technician

Overview

Serpa Packaging Solutions is seeking a Senior Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team  role focuses on assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of high‑quality industrial machinery in a manufacturing facility.

• Read and follow mechanical assembly drawings and schematics, layout drawings, and bills of material.
• Align, fit, assemble, connect, and install system components using jigs, fixtures, measuring instruments, hand tools, and power tools.
• Adjust, repair, rework, or replace parts and assemblies to eliminate malfunctions and ensure proper operation.
• Perform basic electrical repairs and troubleshooting under direction.
• Act as Lead Mechanic on machines, overseeing lead projects and ensuring quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet project milestone dates.
• Maintain company quality standards and objectives to fulfill customer needs.

• Minimum 5–7 years of mechanical/maintenance experience, preferably in assembly.
• Experience with mechanical assembly projects and fabrication.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and leadership skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical schematics.
• Physical capability to stand, kneel, crouch, twist, and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Reliability and punctuality.

Base Salary Range: $32.00–$38.00 per hour.
