The Warehouse Stacker is responsible for selecting and unloading cases of paper cups and plastic lids weighing up to 60 lbs. off a conveyor system, stacking and preparing stacked product for transportation by a forklift driver. The stacker must perform the task in a quick, safe and accurate manner while maintaining a clean and orderly working area.

3. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/

JOB DUTIES:

• a. Assist in the warehousing, unloading of product off a conveyor system.
• b. Train new employees on stacker responsibilities and the safety and quality standards associated with the position.
• c. Work on assignments that are routine in nature where limited judgment is required. Detailed instruction on all work is normally provided.
• d. Perform work in a fast-paced work environment with capacity to perform required physical activities such as lifting, bending, carrying, pushing, pulling, etc.
• e. Complete data entry.
• f. Obtain boxes of finished product from production sortation line and stack in orderly manner.
• g. Wrap units prior to stacker driver moving to stretch wrapper.
• h. Understand, perform and promote plant and company safety practices, policies and procedures.
• i. Ensure quality in palletized correctly and ensure prints are not mixed.
• j. Perform proper lifting techniques for safe operations.

Comply with all safety standards. Remain focused on safety throughout the shift and perform all work in a safe manner without taking shortcuts. Report injuries immediately to your supervisor and any potential safety hazards observed.

Comply with all quality standards. Produce quality product by not accepting defective material into work center, not making defective products at work station, not passing defects to internal customers and by reporting potential quality issues.

Comply with all sanitation standards. Practice good sanitation and housekeeping practicing to maintain the appearance and condition of the operating facility.

Pay: $19.36 - $20.81
