About the RoleYou will determine donor eligibility to donate plasma, manage donor adverse events, review lab test results, and notify donors of unsuitable results. You will work under guidance from the Center Manager or Assistant Manager and under medical oversight by the Center Physician. Familiarity with plasma collection industry regulations and manufacturing environment is required. You will follow guidance from Bio Life Medical Affairs and provide center‑level support for environmental, health and safety (EHS).
Key Responsibilities- Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, AIDS education, confidential self‑exclusion, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and reviewing Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE).
- Manage donor reactions as outlined in SOPs and follow applicable SOPs for medical emergencies.
- Co‑operate with the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unacceptable findings or medical/technical guidance on donor safety and eligibility.
- Support the Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees.
- Manage employee incidents and determine if further evaluation is required by occupational health/ER. Refer to EHS guidance.
- Serve as a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations related to pandemic threats.
- High school diploma or equivalent; graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program with state requirements.
- Currently licensed or certified in the state where responsibilities will be assigned:
Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA). - Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification.
- Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
- Successfully complete the FDA‑approved training requirements for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
- Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Compensation and BenefitsLocation:
USA – CA – Visalia
Hourly wage range: $38.72 – $53.24 per hour.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short‑term incentives and participation in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, short‑term and long‑term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, well‑being benefits, etc.
U.S. based employees may receive up to 80 hours of sick time per calendar year, and new hires accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
