Job OverviewClinical Operations – Administration (Department
8720). The role provides hospital‑wide operational throughput oversight, staff and resource management, front‑line leadership for operational and financial management, and staff relations in support of program leadership and executive staff.
- Ensure hospital‑wide operational throughput and manage staffing and support resources.
- Provide front‑line leadership for operational and financial management.
- Maintain public and internal staff relations and support program leadership.
- Apply Joint Commission standards, California’s Nursing Practice Act, Title
22 and 17, federal guidelines, and HIPAA policies in supervisory areas. - Participate in the development and implementation of patient‑care policies, procedures, protocols, and standards.
- Hold staff accountable for meeting nursing practice and patient‑care standards.
- Coach and develop staff to continuously improve patient care and investigate patient‑care errors promptly.
- Use the NOE process to identify unusual occurrences and report sentinel events immediately.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of patient care and service.
- Assess and improve staff performance using patient‑satisfaction data.
- Ensure accurate staff competency knowledge before patient placement and adhere to HR policies and employment standards.
- Organize patient care and service in collaboration with Directors and Nurse Managers based on staffing plans and patient needs.
- Respond to unexpected staff shortages by reallocating resources and adjusting staffing levels as census dictates.
- Utilize the patient classification tool and Title
22 requirements for patient classification and staff ratios. - Communicate proactively with patients, physicians, staff, and other departments to coordinate care and staffing.
- Engage in decision‑making, participation in meetings and projects, and responsible use of e‑mail.
- Model ethical practice guided by the Code for Nurses, maintain patient confidentiality, and act as a patient advocate.
- Promote a non‑judgmental and nondiscriminatory environment preserving patient autonomy, dignity, and rights.
- Demonstrate knowledge of cultural, linguistic, spiritual, gender, and age‑specific needs of patients and families.
- CA RN license (required)
- BLS (required)
- Kaweah Health approved crisis intervention training within 60days of hire/transfer (required)
- Preferred: ACLS certification
- Preferred: BSN or MSN

Supervisory experience - Expert clinical skills and excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong critical, creative, and problem‑solving abilities
Variable – 12
Hour Shift (United States of America)
Pay Range: $52.24 – $78.36 per hour
