We are opening a brand new Sam’s Club in Visalia and are looking for a Merchandising Lead who is member obsessed, hands‑on, and ready to help build something from the ground up. This hands‑on leadership role offers the unique opportunity to launch and shape a new location from day one.

• Train, coach, and support associates to deliver strong performance and great member service
• Reinforce expectations, provide feedback, and recognize accomplishments
• Support hiring, scheduling, and day‑to‑day development of associates
• Keep merchandise stocked, organized, and ready for members
• Ensure Club Pickup (online order pickup) is accurate, on time, and easy for members to collect
• Jump in to problem‑solve and keep operations moving in a fast‑paced environment
• Create a welcoming, helpful experience for every member
• Resolve concerns quickly and confidently
• Assist members with purchases, questions, and self‑service tools

• Use basic performance metrics to identify opportunities and improve results
• Help streamline processes to make work easier for the team
• Partner with club leadership to keep operations running efficiently

• Maintain a clean, safe environment for associates and members
• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 6 months retail experience AND 6 months customer service experience.

• Leading a team; supervising experience to include hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing the workload of others.
