Duties and Responsibilities

Complete all patrols on the Run Sheet assigned to each Patrol Beat.
Conduct routine patrols of assigned areas on foot or in vehicle to detect and deter unauthorized activity.
Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies, including alarms and other calls for service.
Assist other Patrol Officers with calls when additional assistance is needed to ensure officer safety.
Observe and report information for CIS Security clients.
Write detailed incident reports and maintain daily activity logs.
Provide excellent customer service to clients, employees, and visitors.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to operate a motor vehicle in a safe and sensible manner.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to observe and document observations.
Team player with a consistent positive attitude.
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.

Ability to work graveyard shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be 21 years of age or older
Valid California Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
Must hold a Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (“BSIS”) Security Guard License or be eligible to obtain a Security Guard License. Applicants with VALID guard card are preferred.
Prefer one or more years’ experience as a Security or Patrol Officer, but not required.

Grave: may work 6 to 8hrs between 8:00 PM - 9:00 AM

Actual start and end times will depend on the sites assigned

Job Type: Part-Time

Pay Range: $17.90 - $21.00
