Job Title

Animator in Child Services

Within the child services department, under the authority of the director of the facility, you will carry out duties that refer to the regulatory texts on the protection of minors, the legislation on leisure facilities, and the International Convention on the Rights of the Child. The animator, is a responsible adult for the children who are entrusted to the Child Services of Tremblay-en-France.

He or she has the responsibility of a group of children, designs and conducts projects and activities in compliance with the educational project and the guidelines of the Child Services.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the physical, emotional, and moral safety of the children
• Designing and conducting quality playful and educational activities
• Designing animation projects that meet the needs of the children, in line with the educational guidelines of the child services
• Involvement in child services as an agent of social and civic activity of the city
• Evaluating his or her pedagogical action

Required skills and qualifications:

• Holder of a complete BAFA or equivalent with experience
• Knowledge of the fundamental needs of the child
• Adaptability, relational skills, and exemplary duty
• Diligence, punctuality, professional discretion
• Sense of teamwork
• Autonomy and sense of responsibility

Specifics related to the position:

• Availability (animations possible in the evening or on weekends)
• Accompaniment of children in all activities (swimming pool, tree climbing, short stays, castle overnights…)
• May be required to be relocated to different leisure facilities
• Planning modifiable according to service needs
• Work time divided - annualised
