Bookkeeper

Description

A stable and growing manufacturing company is seeking a Bookkeeper to support daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing a variety of accounting functions while working closely with leadership in a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will take ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping activities and assist with month-end reporting and financial administration.

Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

+ Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

+ Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts

+ Maintain accurate general ledger records

+ Prepare customer invoices and monitor outstanding balances

+ Assist with month-end close and financial reporting activities

+ Process vendor payments and maintain vendor records

Administrative Support

+ Maintain organized accounting files and documentation

+ Assist with payroll preparation and reporting

+ Support year-end audit and tax preparation processes

+ Generate reports for management review

Requirements

+ 2+ years of bookkeeping experience

+

Experience with Quick Books Online, Sage, or similar accounting software

+ Strong Excel skills and attention to detail

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

+ Manufacturing or distribution industry experience is a plus
