Our client, a publicly traded aerospace and defense company, is hiring a Senior Program Control Analyst to support complex government programs from inception through execution. This is a highly visible role partnering closely with Program Management and Finance on a new program with full Earned Value (EV) requirements.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the details, influencing program decisions, and serving as a trusted business partner to Program Managers in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Partner with Program Managers to support program planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting across cost and schedule.
  • Develop, maintain, and status integrated master schedules (IMS) using MS Project, including critical path analysis and look-ahead planning.
  • Establish and manage cost baselines, EACs, and forecasts, performing variance analysis and "what-if" scenarios.
  • Leverage Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics to assess performance and support informed decision-making.
  • Lead program status reviews and cross-functional meetings, highlighting risks, issues, and recovery plans.
  • Collaborate daily with Finance, Engineering, and other functional teams to ensure program and customer success.
What We’re Looking For
  • 10+ years of experience in Program Control, Program Finance, or Project Controls.
  • Strong hands‑on experience supporting full EVM programs, including cost and/or schedule deliverables.
  • Advanced Excel skills; strong PowerPoint capabilities.
  • Proficiency with MS Project in a technical or engineering‑driven environment.
  • Deep understanding of EVMS guidelines, DoD EVMSIG, and government reporting.
  • Experience preparing IPMR/IPMDAR or similar customer reports.
  • Familiarity with Control Account Plans (CAPs), Work Authorization Documents (WADs), and Variance Analysis Reports (VARs).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a technical field.
  • U.S. Citizenship required; ability to travel up to 10%.
