Construction Manager/ Foreman, Site Manager, Civil Engineering, Estimator
• Direct the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of complex construction projects with revenues of $50–$100 million and durations up to 3 years
• Forecast project revenue and costs to meet corporate profitability goals
• Manage up to 10 full-time employees, including hiring, firing, and performance reviews
• Coordinate with estimators and project controls to establish budgets
• Lead estimating efforts on vertically integrated projects
• Coordinate resources with estimators, the large project sponsor, and the manager of construction to meet project schedules
• Participate in bid reviews and bid closings; evaluate project feasibility and develop bid schedules
• Develop comprehensive project start-up plans and successful kick-offs
• Facilitate communication among Project Engineers, Foremen, Superintendents, and Construction Managers
• Ensure job controls for quantities, costs, revenue, and schedules
• Maintain relationships with owners, agencies, subcontractors, inspectors, and clients
• Ensure accurate construction reports and continuous performance improvement
• Run projects at or above expected profitability margins
• Support corporate safety initiatives and maintain a safe work environment
- BS degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent work experience in heavy civil construction
- Minimum of ten (10) years' progressive project experience in heavy civil environments
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in paving, dirt, and grading in either private or public environments
- Experience as a Large Projects Superintendent preferred
- Experience in Design-build projects preferred
- Knowledge of construction paving, underground, concrete and grading practices
- Knowledge and understanding of union agreements and prevailing wage issues
- Ability to work in a high production environment
- Demonstrated decision-making skills
- Excellent leadership skills
- Excellent supervisory communication and organizational skills
- Accuracy at all times
- Ability to abide by Granite’s Code of Conduct on a daily basis
- Ability to work around large construction equipment and comply with safety requirements
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Demonstrates extensive project management capabilities in heavy civil construction, including financial forecasting, team leadership, and effective communication with stakeholders. Proficient in managing large-scale projects while ensuring safety compliance and profitability.
