Reports to: Production Director

Level: $18-22 /hr depending on proven experience

10 to 20 hours per week

• Sunday 6:00am-2pm
• Monday As Needed
• Tuesday As Needed
• Wednesday As Needed (evening service rehearsal)
• Thursday 12:30-8:30pm (Church On Thursday evening service)
• Saturday As Needed

East Lake Church (Chula Vista, CA) Production Assistant (lighting focus) SCOPE & DIMENSIONS:

The Production Assistant supports the technical and creative execution of worship services, events, and ministry activities at Eastlake Church. This role works closely with the Production Director, worship leaders, and ministry teams to ensure excellence and consistency in visual, lighting, and stage operations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Program light show on Grand
  
  MA3 lighting console.
• Program motion mapping on Pro Video Player to trigger with lighting console.
• Contribute to the visual flow of worship services in 1,200 seat auditorium.
• Leadership: recruit and lead production volunteers.
• Assist preparing and printing grids, message notes, host script and distribute.
• Assist in rehearsal and pre-service rehearsals along with other service preparation.
• Assist in creating Pro Presenter show for services; assist in uploading content to Google Drive for the Community Church Movement.
• Stay in the room throughout each service operating the lighting and LED wall systems.
• Assist in repairs, maintenance and upgrades to lights and production equipment as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be a committed follower of Jesus Christ.
• Must be an active member of Eastlake Church, embracing and supporting our mission, vision, and values.
• Gear & Software Knowledge:
  Be able to learn and teach on Grand
  
  MA3, Pro Presenter, Pro Video Player, etc.
• Experience with various lighting fixtures and rigs and DMX signal paths.
• Two years experience in related environment.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Additional duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS /

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks as required by the role.
• Mobile – In and out of office to ensure task completion
• Overtime hours as required by ministry needs
