Yogativity is seeking an enthusiastic Lead Instructor to lead our Yogativity after school enrichment program for TK-5th grade students. This hands-on program inspires well being through fun, exploration, movement, environmental education, games, teamwork, and creative activities while fostering confidence, responsibility, leadership, and a positive mindset. This position is NOT remote/ online.

Paid training is provided for all programs. We will provide daily curriculum, plans, games and materials for each class.

Students are grouped by grade levels with class sizes maximum 20 students to two Yogativity staff.

• Lead (or assist) with after school instruction for students.

• Experience working with groups of kids
• College students, teachers, TAs, retirees, parents, are encouraged to apply
• Effective group management skills
• Energetic, kind, and patient personality
• Punctual and reliable, with access to a reliable form of transportation

• Experience working with youth in an educational, recreational, or after-school setting
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable leading groups of students and managing classroom behavior

Candidates must meet one of the following:

• Bachelor's degree or working on one (Education or related field preferred)
• Two years of college or equivalent coursework credits.
• Ability to pass a company instructional assessment

• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)

This role requires the ability to actively engage in both indoor and outdoor program settings. Responsibilities may include:

• Standing, walking, and moving throughout program spaces
• Lifting and carting materials (up to 50 lbs)
• Supervising students in active, sometimes high-energy environments
• Managing occasional interruptions and dynamic situations
• What your schedule will look like:
  Monday through Friday afternoons in person at school sites, 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, (2 hours) and daily prep time.
