Position OverviewWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented entry-level designer/drafter to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and drafting, with a basic understanding of CAD software and drafting principles. This is a great opportunity for a student looking to gain hands-on experience and grow their skills in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and updating 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models.
- Collaborate with senior designers and engineers to develop design solutions.
- Prepare detailed drawings and layouts based on project specifications.
- Review and revise drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Maintain organized file management systems for drawings and related documents.
- Support the design team with various drafting tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in drafting, design, engineering, or a related field.
- Basic proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Solid Works).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
- A minimum of 20 hours a week
