The Engineer, Manufacturing is responsible for ensuring that our manufacturing line is producing the highest quality product possible.

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Hardware Engineering and is part of the Manufacturing Engineering team located in Vista, CA and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

* Ensure issues with fixtures, parts and systems are resolved quickly to minimize impact to productivity, OTD, and Takt.

* Assist in the design and development of robust manufacturing processes for existing products, product changes, component obsolescence and enhancements, as well as related tooling and fixtures.

* Maintain and respond to process risk documentation (pFMEA)

* Manufacturing/Operations representative on Material Review Board (MRB)

The essential requirements of the job include

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar discipline or equivalent experience.

* 2 or more years of experience in an Engineering Role.

* Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and data tracking & analysis

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

* Ability to travel globally up to 5% of the year

* Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 35lb

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

* Familiarity with motion control, optical systems or digital imaging.

* Knowledge and experience with GMP, ISO and FDA Regulatory standards

* Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing techniques and principles.

The annual salary range for this role is $85,000 - $105,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
