Plumbing Designer
The Plumbing Designer focuses on design of building-related projects, including educational campuses, military bases, healthcare facilities, hotels, apartment buildings, retail/commercial spaces, and more using Revit and AutoCAD software.
Responsibilities- Develop system design calculations and select equipment for use in buildings, including sump pumps, sewage ejectors, water heating systems, water booster stations, etc.
- Prepare detailed design documents.
- Write and edit specifications.
- Conduct code compliance research.
- Collaborate with various team members to coordinate services with other disciplines.
- Perform site surveys to determine existing conditions.
- Provide construction administration support, including submittal reviews and RFI responses.
- Familiarity with local and state codes, accepted standards, and design guidelines.
- Excellent work ethic and character.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Good time management and organizational skills with the ability to plan and prioritize obligations to meet deadlines.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in plumbing design for various types of facilities.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office software.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology (a plus but not required).
- EIT/PE a plus but not required.
- Thorough knowledge of engineering principles and experience in a broad spectrum of building types.

Compensation and BenefitsThe expected base salary range for this role is $85,000-$95,000 per year. Compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, qualifications, and location. This role also eligible for performance-based bonuses and a comprehensive U.S. based benefits package, including:
