Finance Manager

Plum Paper, a division of Avery Products, is an e-commerce market leader in personalized planners and stationery based in Vista, CA.

As our new finance and procurement leader, you will be responsible for developing and implementing financial plans, setting up and running our daily financial activities, supporting supplier and inventory needs and providing valuable insights to our leadership team.

• Oversee site-level financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Monitor and report on key financial metrics
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management on performance.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end close and financial reporting.
• Support internal and external audits with relevant documentation.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and local regulations.
• Partner with central finance team on consolidation and strategic planning.
• Partner and collaborate with cross functional leadership team to provide financial analysis and insights to drive business improvements and improve financial acumen among team members

• Lead end-to-end procurement activities including sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and supplier management.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality and reliability.
• Evaluate supplier performance and lead regular reviews.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in procurement.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and other departments to forecast demand and manage inventory effectively.
• Ensure procurement processes comply with internal controls and ethical standards.
• Manage procurement KPIs and reporting.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
