Speech Pathologist
A certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in an elementary school setting located in Vista, CA. This contract position extends through the current school year (CSY), focusing on supporting students with speech and language needs.
Responsibilities- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in elementary school students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and prepare reports as necessary.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs (Individualized Education Programs).
- Valid state certification/licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working in a school or educational environment, particularly with elementary-aged children.
- Strong assessment and intervention skills for a range of speech and language disorders.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Commitment to student-centered care and educational support.
