Seasonal Wave Waterpark Service Team Positions; CSSI

The Wave Waterpark is a small waterpark that is loved by families all over San Diego! Guests can enjoy water slides, a lazy river, and a Flow Rider.

The Wave Waterpark is a seasonal operation and is seeking temporary workers for the summer season. Training begins in the Spring with opportunity for hours before summer. During the operating season you can expect to workdays, nights, weekends, or holidays. Average hours for a service team member range from 25-35 hours per week. The Wave is a perfect first job opportunity.

Concessionaire - $16.90/hr.

Guest Services - $16.90/hr.

Park Services - $16.90/hr.

Concessions at the Wave's Surf Spot Grill oversees making sure our guests don't go hungry. Your responsibilities include making amazing snow cones, cashiering, food running, and pizza making. No experience is necessary, training is provided on site. We are looking for individuals with upbeat personalities who can take direction and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment to join our team. Concessions applicants must be able to obtain a County of San Diego Food Handlers License.

At the Front Gate, Ticket Booth, and Wave Shack, our guest service attendants are always ready with a smile to welcome our guests. Guest Services is one of our smaller departments and positions are limited. A great customer service attitude is a must. Your responsibilities include processing sales transactions, admitting entrance to ticket holders and Season Pass holders, assisting guests with park information, and finding solutions to guest concerns.

No experience is necessary, training is provided on site.

Our park service attendants are an important piece to ensure our guests return again and have a positive impression of our facility. From the moment our guest exits their vehicle our mission is to provide them with clean facilities, sanitary restrooms that are inviting to be used, grounds that are free of trash, debris, and spills and an overall safe environment.

We are looking for individuals who are self-starters and have excellent work ethic. No experience is necessary, training is provided on site.

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Able to pass drug screening and background check

• Ability to stand for up to 3 ½ hours at a given location.
• Ability to sit, bend, kneel, push, and lift (up to 50 lbs.).
• Ability to walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments.

All properly completed applications will be reviewed, and the most qualified candidates will be invited to continue in the selection process. Following a conditional offer of employment, candidates must successfully complete pre-employment clearances, including drug screen and fingerprinting if over the age of 18.
