Parts Logistics​/Inventory Coordinator

Position Overview:

Abtech Technologies is seeking a dependable, organized Parts Logistics / Inventory Coordinator to support our computer service, repair, and technical operations team. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of hands-on experience in parts logistics, inventory control, warehouse support, computer repair, technical service, or a similar environment. This is an on-site only position at our Vista, CA location. Occasional in-state travel may be required, and the role may occasionally be customer facing.

Key Responsibilities:

Organize, label, store, and maintain computer parts, tools, packaging materials, and related inventory. Track parts locations, usage, consumption, and availability using an inventory or parts locator system. Support local technicians and other office locations with parts requests, preparation, and coordination. Handle shipping, receiving, packing, unpacking, and shipment preparation for technicians, customers, vendors, and other locations. Maintain clean, accurate, and efficient warehouse, lab, cabinet, and storage areas.

Assist technicians with identifying parts and resolving basic parts-related or hardware-related issues. Set up and troubleshoot desktop hardware and laptops.

Required

Experience and Skills:

Minimum 3 years of relevant logistics, warehouse, or inventory experience. Minimum 2 years of technical service or computer repair experience. Strong communication, organization, accuracy, attention to detail, punctuality, and follow-through. Comfortable handling small parts, computer components, anti-static bags, boxes, bins, and storage systems. Ability to lift a minimum of 65 lbs. Ability to work hands-on in office, lab, warehouse, and storage areas.

Basic computer hardware knowledge, part identification skills, and troubleshooting ability. Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. Ability to work well with technical and non-technical team members. Self-starting with independent initiative. Proven ability to follow through and complete tasks without oversight. Ability to travel in-state when needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a computer service, IT support, repair, or system-building environment. Familiarity with parts tracking, inventory systems, locator systems, or field technician support. Interest in expanding technical knowledge and supporting a fast-paced IT services team. Experience with basic reporting and auditing. CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification preferred.
