The Logistics Transportation Analyst is responsible for planning and executing the weekly and daily interplant transfers of movements of raw, ingredients, and packaging materials from the central materials warehouses to the manufacturing warehouse locations. This role will also arrange transportation and execute Stock Transport Orders, STOs from the manufacturing site to the distribution center and outbound 3PLs. This role ensures the right materials, in the right quantities, are available to be transferred to the appropriate locations to support production and distribution.

Material Planning & Movements- Review Stock Transfer Requisition s (STRs) in SAP to organize the movement of materials between the staging, raw materials, and intermediate/WIP/packaging/finished goods warehouses. Responsibilities include converting STRs into Stock Transport Orders (STOs) and building and organizing truck shipments.
- Using the SAP STO process, coordinates the building of truck loads for the movement of raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods from material warehouse locations to the manufacturing warehouses and outbound DCs and 3PLs.
- Ensure warehouse locations are supplied with the correct quantities at the right time to prevent shortages and overstocking.
- Responsible for moving finished goods to regional DCs and 3PLs for distribution, using SAP to execute STOs and build trucks.
- Serve as the primary contact between Production, Warehouse, Outbound DCs, 3PLs and Distribution Requirements Planning, DRP for material movement.
- Communicate material availability issues or risks proactively and propose solutions.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods.
- Follow cGMP and SOP requirements in all material handling and documentation.
- Support continuous improvement of material flow processes, minimizing waste and increasing efficiency.
- Maintain records and documentation for audits and regulatory compliance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Monitor and report on key transportation metrics, such as on-time delivery rates, freight cost variances, and inventory accuracy, to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety protocols and OSHA regulations, ensuring that all material movements and truck loading operations are performed in a safe and compliant manner.
- Manage day-to-day interactions with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and transportation carriers to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Act as a power user or first-line support for SAP issues related to inventory transactions, STO processing, and material master data errors.

Education:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business Administration, or Engineering; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred: Professional certifications such as APICS (CSCP or CPIM), Lean Six Sigma, or project management certification.
