Sunset West

, is currently recruiting for a Production Planner
. Sunset West specializes in luxury outdoor furniture for residential and hospitality markets. Hooker Furnishings, celebrating over a century in business, is a designer, marketer and importer of case goods, leather, fabric‑upholstered, and outdoor furniture.

We are looking for a dependable individual with great attention to detail to join our Production Team
. This position is an integral part of the scheduling and control of the Cut and Sew department and have the following duties:

• Supervise and coordinate daily operations for the Cut and Sew production department.
• Prepare and review production schedules for proper sequencing of products for maximum workflow.
• Process production orders while maintaining work released and scheduled.
• Coordinate raw materials to ensure continued and steady pace of product flow.
• Monitor ERP system production lists to prioritize workload.
• Effectively utilize cut and sew staff based on production targets.
• Track and effectively communicate job progress to other departments.
• Identify issues impacting production and provide input for improvements.
• Order and maintain safety stock levels for fabric and sewing materials

• Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Supervisory experience and leadership qualities
• Experience using ERP based MRP system (D365 highly desirable), Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
• Previous experience in inventory or production control preferably in a Cut & Sew environment.
• Fluent in Spanish

Shift: Monday – Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Pay Range: $24.00-$32.00 per hour.
