Warehouse Associate - Flower Bulb Production

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to support daily operations at our flower bulb growing and distribution facility. This role is responsible for handling, sorting, storing, and preparing flower bulbs for planting, packaging, and shipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and committed to maintaining quality and safety standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments of flower bulbs and materials

* Sort, grade, and prepare bulbs for planting, storage, or distribution

* Assist with packaging and labeling orders for shipment

* Maintain proper storage conditions to protect bulb quality

* Operate basic warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, carts, etc.)

* Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies

* Keep work areas clean and organized

* Follow safety procedures and company guidelines

* Assist with general warehouse and production tasks as needed

Qualifications

* Previous warehouse or production experience preferred

* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

* Strong attention to detail and quality control

* Ability to work in varying temperature environments

* Team-oriented with good communication skills

* Reliable attendance and punctuality

Work Environment

* Warehouse setting with exposure to soil, plant materials, and seasonal workload fluctuations

* May require bending, lifting, and repetitive motions

* Fast-paced during peak planting and shipping seasons
