Shift: 1st 7:00AM-3:30PM
Under general supervision, perform semi‑routine material handling functions to support all internal and external customers in an accurate and timely manner. These functions includes chemical dispensing, material stocking, material issuance, cycle counting, shipping, receiving, and maintaining clerical records in a clean GMP environment.
Responsibilities- Shipping, receiving and stocking duties including loading/unloading trucks, sorting, sizing for materials, stacking and loading pallets, product identification, damage inspection, shipment packaging, internal documentation creation, and data entry of related documents.
- Material transfer: perform stocking, kitting, issuing, internal delivery of materials and directing them to appropriate internal locations, including staging / storage locations, production lines or other plant locations.
- Manufacturing staging: dispense chemicals in ready‑to‑use portions in accordance with production work orders; perform mathematical calculations, conversions, weighing operations and repetitive lifting/moving of materials up to 50 lbs.
- Hazardous and bio‑hazardous waste handling: handle hazardous / bio‑hazardous / pathological waste and used medical equipment per established procedure and environmental health & safety policy.
- Inventory control: maintain accurate inventory in main and satellite warehouses, participate in establishing methods/procedures, conduct cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, maintain FIFO and proper inventory levels.
- Equipment maintenance: assist in maintenance of all equipment and control monitors used within the department; ensure required calibrations and preventive maintenance are scheduled.
- Housekeeping: perform routine housekeeping duties in warehouses and work areas, keep areas organized, safe, secured, clean and sanitized; maintain logs for cleaning, sanitization and pest control.
- Address complaints and resolve employee related problems in collaboration with department management and HR.
- Makes decisions independently within a well‑defined area.
High School Diploma or equivalent. APICs courses or certification desirable.
Experience- 1-2 years experience in a production inventory control environment working with MRP systems, PC for data entry, inquiry and communication, and shipping using UPS, DHL or Federal Express systems.
- Minimum 1 year experience with pharmaceutical/biologics/related healthcare manufacturing clean environments.
Must lift up to 50 lbs.
