Job Description We are seeking a Bioprocess Manufacturing Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automated bioprocess operations across production services, upstream, and downstream areas and a proven ability to execute cGMP manufacturing procedures safely, accurately, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities:
Follow standard operating procedures and batch records to produce medicines in an automated, cGMP environment. Operate, clean, and sterilize production equipment using automated control systems. Perform raw material weighing and aliquoting, small-scale solution preparation, and equipment part washing and autoclaving. Execute environmental monitoring throughout the facility as required. Support upstream operations including aseptic techniques, seed lab activities, spinner flasks, bioreactors, and harvest via centrifugation and depth filtration.

Support downstream operations including fixed tank and filtration systems, large-scale column chromatography, protein purification, and reformulation. Prepare media and buffers according to defined recipes and specifications. Document activities accurately and contemporaneously to meet cGMP and inspection standards. Report safety and environmental incidents promptly and adhere to all safety requirements. Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Proficiency in English for reading, writing, and communication. Computer literacy with experience using Microsoft and Google platforms and automated manufacturing systems. Ability to work all listed shifts, required overtime, and stand for extended periods; ability to climb multiple flights of stairs and lift up to 25 lbs. Ability to comply with cleanroom gowning requirements and restrictions on makeup, jewelry, and personal electronic devices.

Ability to work with hazardous materials and chemicals following safety procedures. Successful completion of job-related tests and certifications required for cGMP operations. Preferred

Skills:

Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude with bioprocess equipment and systems. Experience in at least one manufacturing area: production services, upstream, or downstream. Shift Details:
Shifts support 24x7 operations. Overtime for hours worked over 8 in a day will be paid in accordance with laws. Swing and night shifts include a shift differential. Open availability may receive priority. 10 hr Day: 6:00 am - 4:30 pm (Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat) 10 hr Mid: 10:00 am - 8:30 pm (Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat) 10 hr Swing: 12:30 pm - 11:00 pm (Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat) 10 hr Swing: 1:30 pm - 12:00 am (Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat) Onboarding will follow a 3-4 week schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, followed by on-the-job training on the assigned shift.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Preferred:
Degree in Life Sciences or Engineering, Associate degree, or Biotechnology certificate from an approved program. Compensation and Additional Information:
The expected salary range for the primary location of California is $22/hour. Actual pay will be based on experience, qualifications, location, and other permitted factors. This is a contract role with the possibility of conversion to a permanent position. Work authorization sponsorship and relocation assistance are not available.
