Quality, Safety Technician

Salary Range: $50,000.00 To $60, Annually

H 2 O Innovation is looking for a Quality, HSE & Compliance Technician to join our team. Working from our Vista
, California office, you will play a key role in supporting product quality, safety, environmental compliance, and regulatory requirements within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Overall remuneration including:

• Perform quality control inspections, testing, and validation of raw materials and finished products;
• Support new product development, product qualification, and material evaluation activities;
• Conduct product characterization, testing, and Design of Experiment (DOE) activities;
• Maintain production logs, quality records, Certificates of Analysis (CoAs), and related documentation;
• Perform additional testing, investigations, and validations as required;
• Support ISO 9001 quality management system activities, including audits and document control;
• Participate in non-conformance investigations and corrective action processes;
• Support certification programs, including Halal and Kosher certifications;
• Manage and maintain the site calibration program;
• Assist with preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives;
• Conduct workplace safety inspections and participate in safety meetings and initiatives;
  
  Support compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements;
• Maintain Safety Data Sheet (SDS) documentation and support hazard communication programs;
• Monitor and support compliance with environmental permits and regulatory programs;
• Coordinate environmental testing, sampling, inspections, and reporting activities;
• Maintain regulatory records and prepare submissions related to air, water, and waste management programs;
• Coordinate activities with external laboratories, waste service providers, and regulatory agencies as required;
• Provide day-to-day support to Corporate Quality and HSE teams;
• Communicate quality, safety, environmental, and compliance matters to site management.

• Diploma or degree in a scientific, technical, quality, environmental, or related field;
• 0-3 years of experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, quality, environmental, safety, or compliance environment;
• Knowledge of laboratory testing, quality control, and documentation practices;
• Familiarity with quality systems, audits, corrective actions, and document control processes;
• Ability to support quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance activities;
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and reports;
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications;
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills;
• Experience in the chemical, water treatment, or manufacturing industry is an asset. #INDEED #ZR
