Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the product lifecycle management (PLM) system to ensure data integrity and process flow.
  • Create and update specifications for ingredients and components.
  • Conduct nutritional calculations and generate supplement facts panels using databases and technical specifications.
  • Perform data entry to support the accuracy and completeness of product information.
  • Assist with basic project management functions, supporting the product development pipeline from concept to commercialization.
  • Provide foundational process oversight, ensuring established workflows are followed.
  • Coordinate document approvals and manage qualification workflows to maintain project timelines.
  • Execute change control processes, including filing, securing approvals, and conducting impact assessments.
  • Serve as a key contact for the Product Development team, working with cross‑functional partners in procurement, project management, and quality assurance to gather information and ensure tasks are completed.
  • Assist in collecting and organizing documentation from raw material vendors to support sourcing and qualification.
  • Provide technical and administrative support to the Product Development team, addressing formulation issues by compiling information and following up on pending tasks.
  • Support management and interpretation of stability data and other analytical testing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the product development and innovation pipeline.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in food science, chemistry, biology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and advanced Excel skills are required.
  • Knowledge of dietary supplement regulations (including DSHEA, FD&C Act, 21 CFR 111) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with various ingredients, their usage, and other relevant characteristics in the nutraceutical industry is a plus.
  • Basic math skills, including algebra, are required.
