POSITION TITLEImpact Analyst
POSITION LOCATION1335 Park Center Dr., Vista, CA 92081. Hybrid (in office/remote) position.
SALARY$90,000 – $115,000/yr.
HOURSFull Time/40 hrs.
JOB DUTIESBuild streamlined carbon emissions modeling calculators for the entire Scope 3 Emissions footprint, integrating and harmonizing scientific and quantitative datasets from Operational Sustainability & Innovation (OSI), Special Operations, and Logistics departments. Conduct literature reviews and synthesize scientific research from peer‑reviewed articles to stay current on best Emission Factors (EF), to integrate into emissions modeling tools. Build out the All‑One Report environmental and social footprint databases.
Streamline and improve data capture and analysis systems and reporting views. Write Standard Operating Procedures for how to measure and report on our social and environmental impacts, including how to calculate scopes 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas emissions. Support Fair Trade quantitative data collection, working with Special Operations. Perform statistical and qualitative research. Perform project management. Perform data modeling to support pioneering cross‑departmental work the company is doing to measure carbon co‑benefits with fair trade and social impact.
Run carbon cycle and sequestration modeling for supply chain tree‑planting and photovoltaic system installation initiatives. Perform Life Cycle Assessments or develop similar comprehensive data‑backed tool, to inform the life cycle environmental impact of our products, ingredients, and packaging to aid in decision‑making of new products and product improvements. Work with operations leadership to document how corporate financial models work and how to use them.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Math, or related field of study and 2 years of experience in environmental or social impact data collection, analysis, and modeling. Employer will also accept a Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Math, or related field of study, in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 2 years of experience.

The salary range for this position is $90,000–$115,000/yr. EOE.
