Position: Family Partner, Dependency Drug Court Substance Use Disorder (SUD) - Bilingual

Family Partner - Dependency Drug Court Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Coordination (DDCSC) - Biligual

Under the supervision of the program manager, the primary role of parent partner is to provide peer supportive services for Dependency Drug Court (DDC) and non‑DDC participants. The Family Partner provides skill support and resources to help DDC participants engage with SUD services. We’re looking for a candidate who has personal experience with CWS involvement and/or SUD recovery. This role requires this lived experience to build trust with participants to help them utilize the services in our program.

Required Qualifications
  • Personal experience with CWS involvement and/or SUD recovery.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
  • Ability to connect with clients while maintaining effective professional boundaries.
  • Available 2‑3 evenings per week until 7 PM.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities
  • Works with participants to identify and overcome barriers to treatment participation.
  • Provides ongoing skill support and case management services via telehealth, home visits, or community settings, during the day and early evening.
  • Collaborates with Substance Use Specialist to meet client needs.
  • Assists in completing screenings and referral linkage.
  • Assist in coordination to connect participants to SUD providers.
  • Support participants in initiating and continued engagement in SUD treatment.
  • Completes progress notes as required by Behavioral Health Services contract. Meets service delivery standards as determined by the contract.
  • Attend court sessions and provide updates to the Court as required.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.
Schedule/Compensation
  • FT - nonexempt position.
  • M‑F 8 hour shifts. Available 2‑3 evenings to offer sessions until 7 PM.
  • $22‑$24/hour. Salary will commensurate with experience and education. EEO.
Additional Requirements
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation with a good driving record.
  • Willing to use own, properly insured, reliable vehicle for the job (mileage reimbursed).
  • Employment subject to clearances, including background fingerprinting checks, driving record, tuberculosis testing, and drug testing.
