Community Interface Services is a nonprofit organization that has empowered adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1983. Our mission is to provide quality, individualized, community-based support and training in employment, housing, community living, and other related services.
What'syour day like?
As a Caregiver at Community Interface Services, your position will be elevating the quality of life for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. You will work in the homes of the clients of our Supported Living program and tackling daily tasks to offer personalized one-on-one support. This may include in personal care, scheduling/ following up on doctor's appointments, grocery shopping, preparing meals, and getting out into the community through public transportation.

- A working vehicle, a CA Driver's License, and at least two years of driving experience
- A solid work history and references that can attest to dependability
- Ability to lift and push a wheelchair

Excellent communication skills are vital for building trust and understanding the needs of those you support, ensuring their voices are heard. You must possess the ability to maintain professional boundaries while providing compassionate support, fostering a respectful and nurturing environment.
