Swanky Badger is a custom gift company servicing both the retail and promotional products industry. We operate out of our home-base warehouse, fulfilling high-volume retail orders and complex promotional shipments for clients nationwide and internationally.

Our shipping and packing team plays a critical role in ensuring orders are accurate, well-presented, and delivered on time for important gifting moments and events.

We are hiring a full-time, in-house Shipping / Receiving / Packing Associate to support daily order fulfillment, outbound shipping, and warehouse organization.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with systems, and capable of managing multiple shipment types and timelines at once.

You will be responsible for packing retail and promotional orders, preparing shipments according to product-specific standards, coordinating carrier pickups, and supporting inventory and warehouse operations.

Training

Start Date:

Initial 1-month trial period to ensure good fit for both parties

• Pack retail orders and promotional product orders
• Manage split shipments, merged shipments, and partial orders
• Pack orders according to carrier timelines vs. In-Hand Dates
• Follow product-specific packing standards to ensure consistency
• Perform kitting and alternate packaging as required
• Organize, stage, and label outgoing shipments
• Supervise and organize packing line as volume increases
• Prepare packing supplies and replenish packing materials on the floor
• Support international shipping procedures and documentation
• Schedule ground and freight pickups

• Support forklift operation and maintenance (certification required or obtained after hire)
• Assist with quarterly product cycle counts
• Perform shipping supply counts and office supply counts
• Organize warehouse pallets and storage locations
• Complete safety checklist walkthroughs
• Input and track product waste and perform product waste inventory adjustments

Full-time / 40 hours per week

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm (weekends as needed during peak periods)

• Reliable transportation

• Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting packages
• Basic computer skills required
• Experience with order fulfillment or inventory software preferred
• Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
